These racers are fast, but sometimes that's not fast enough. For those times, every Podracer comes equipped with a speed boost that, when engaged, adds more than 300 mph to your top speed! Take care, though — boosting taxes your engines.

Watch the thrust meter. When you're about to overheat, lay off the accelerator and wait for your engines to cool to normal. Find another straightaway and repeat the process.
